[Meta] NaNoWriMo Day 6

Only 1,082 words today, but that brings me to 12,025, which still puts me slightly ahead of the official curve. I didn't originally expect to get to write at all tonight, but plans changed for various reasons. On the other hand, because one of those reasons was a late day at work, my brain was a little sluggish. Still, words is words, and I still like the direction things are going.

I'm coming to terms with the fact that the NaNoWriMo pace makes good sense for me, but that the 50kword target will not get me to a complete novel. At least, not this novel. This novel's going to take a more than that, by far, I suspect. That's OK. It just means I'm going to have to maintain some of the same momentum after the official NaNo push is done.
