Writing time has been a little weird the last few days, but I'm still riding at 45,505 words, so still on track to "win" NaNo. This novel will definitely be longer than 50kwords, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much longer.

Added 1,676 words, bringing me to 41,462. I feel good about the numbers, but the writing was a slog, in part because I'm trying to develop two additional POV characters

Another 2,079 words today, which means I will surpass 40kwords tomorrow. Today's scene fought me a bit, but produced a couple of surprising reactions from my characters! I think I know where this is ultimately going to. EXCITING!

Another 1,714 words tonight, 37,708 total, and a chapter that doesn't want to end. In general, chapter length is proving very uneven, and I need to decide what, if anything I want to do about that.

Another 1,389 today, and about 1,440 yesterday, for a total of 33,326. Daily pace is behind, but overall I'm on track still. Click through for deets.

Managed 1,324 words, which gets me past the half-way mark for #NaNoWriMo goals at 25,068 words! Plots are thickening, murders are multiplying. I like the direction things are going and I think I even know where they're going to wind up!

Only 1,075 words today—about half a new chapter—but 23,744 overall, well ahead of the curve.

Today brought me 2,589 shiny new words, in two chunks, for a total of 22,669. One scene I'm REALLY happy with but may not be able to keep!

Today saw 3,652 words, bringing the total to 20,080 words, in two sessions, making up for none yesterday!

Another 2,158 words on a day when I figured I'd be lucky to manage 1,000. Once again, the scene started out sluggishly, and then I seemed to go over the falls and the rest just came spilling out.

After a sluggish start, I managed 2,245 words this evening, bringing me to 14,270.
